CPP / CPPT – Wash Press Compactor
The Fluiteco CPP Wash Press Compactor is a screw-based system engineered for washing, compacting, and transporting screenings and wet waste in both municipal and industrial wastewater applications. Utilizing an advanced high-pressure dewatering process, the CPP achieves a dry solids content of 30% to 40% in the discharged material. This ensures efficient solid-liquid separation and significant volume reduction, drastically lowering overall weight and disposal costs while optimizing waste management and site hygiene.
Engineering Innovation and Mechanical Reliability
Unlike standard screw conveyors, the CPP model features a shafted spiral with a thickness consistently exceeding 10 mm to ensure superior mechanical strength during the compression phase. A key highlight of the Fluiteco design is the total absence of any end-bearings in the discharge zone; this technical solution eliminates critical wear points and the risk of seizing, thereby reducing maintenance interventions and operational costs. Each unit comes standard with a main drainage zone equipped with a manual valve and a “gooseneck” drain for optimal management of separated liquids.
Intensive Washing: the CPPT Model
For applications requiring enhanced organic removal, the CPPT version features a dedicated pre-drainage zone with an additional screw conveyor. This configuration generates extra mechanical agitation, further enhancing washing efficiency before final compaction. Both models offer extensive customization, including wear-resistant liners in HDPE, Hardox, or stainless steel, adjustable dewatering filtration, and optional thermal insulation with heating cables, providing a reliable and cost-effective solution for screenings management.
